Here’s Larry Kudlow on what Obama-Care might mean in real, everyday terms:
By the way, a government takeover of health care — which is essentially what Obamacare represents — will cripple one of our most productive job-creating sectors. Private health care produced almost 700,000 new jobs in the last two terrible years, all while overall payrolls fell by 7.5 million. Think about that.
So while the general economy was losing 7 1⁄2 million jobs, Private health care produced nearly 3⁄4 million.
Voilà! We can’t have all those jobs, and a lot of them really well-paying, outside our control! Just how are we supposed to make sure income is properly distributed and everything measures up to our idea of fair?
If you can’t control people properly why, anything can happen. You might even get a policeman who, when trying to question a residential break-in suspect, expects that his questions be answered clearly and promptly without the suspect yelling and calling him names! Now, what kind of a world would that be?
I know. Pretty gruesome to contemplate such a world. It was tough on Kudlow, too. But just think about how many jobs there will be to save or create when these Health Care jobs go bye-bye under Obama-Care.
