Presidential Persuasion Fills Democrats With New Resolve

Demo­c­ra­tic leg­is­la­tors have returned from their meet­ings with Pres­i­dent Obama deter­mined to pur­sue the ele­ments of his agenda to their log­i­cal con­clu­sion even if to do it they have to resort to par­lia­men­tary pres­tidig­i­ta­tion because they now know that this is the proper path to take even though an increas­ing major­ity of the coun­try is grow­ing hor­ri­fied by the very notion of what Amer­ica will look like when the Obama /​ Pelosi /​ Reid rev­o­lu­tion is achieved.

As an expres­sion of their new-​​found con­fi­dence and out­right puis­sance which will empower them to pur­sue this increas­ingly unpop­u­lar agenda they have cho­sen a more expres­sive icon to sym­bol­ize their party.
