Yes! We Can!

Being on the Supreme Court changes people. As many presidents have discovered to their chagrin. Once a person is a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America the responsibility of the position and the lifetime tenure can do many things to him.

One thing it is unlikely to do is to make a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America enjoy being belittled on national TV during the State of the Union message. And having the Attorney General stand up one foot away and applaud the belittling.

Were I Obama the wise and powerful I would try very, very hard to make sure none of my schemes ever got passed upon by the Supreme Court. While Obama’s ego seems to be super-sized he is not the only one in Washington who possesses one.
