THIS comment to the Instapundit Blog has me wondering.  Apparently the operators with the NGO’s and the UN think it is horrible when an American soldier or Marine does something to help somebody.

What would these saviors have the military people do?  If a Marine comes upon the proverbial little girl with her kitty up in a tree he mustn’t help her.  So should he

  • ignore her and proceed as if he hadn’t seen her?
  • shoot kitty?
  • shoot the little girl?

Those would be the options, wouldn’t they?
