Jeff has a post up at Protein Wisdom discussing the government’s takeover of the media.

He seems concerned. Why?

If it weren’t for the Internet I wouldn’t have the foggiest idea of what is going on.  You feel the same way, ’cause here you are.  Forget about Edwards and his wandering dick while he went about the country whining about his wife’s cancer.  What about Rathergate?  Fraud and forgery put out by the the successor to Walter Cronkite?

Well, of course they’re forgeries, but they’re essentially true.

How about ACORN ?  Helping set up a whorehouse for illegal Central American teenagers?

Or the congressional districts that don’t exist getting stimulus money?  Or the ZIP codes that don’t exist getting stimulus money? Or all the infrastructure projects that are already going up all over the country?

Obama’s Safe Schools Czar promoting goofy unsafe sex practices and running an outfit that produces a video which asks of teenagers the burning question, “To swallow or not?”

I know.  The magnitude and brazenness of the corruption makes one a little punchy.

But we wouldn’t know one thing about any of this without the Internet.  The media is just the advertising agency for the DNC, NOW, NAMBLA.

So what if the entire “legacy” media gets stipends from the feds and becomes The Department of Homeland Information?  Since they lie and spin everything whatever they put out is worthless now.  So they disappear?  What’s the difference between worthless and nothing?

That’s easy. “Nothing” doesn’t take up space in my house waiting to be taken to the recycler.
